Hyslop & Associates is pleased to announce we have moved our training center to Southern NH University (SNHU).  SNHU is located on Route 11 by the Laconia Airport and offers graduate and undergraduate evening classes. Hyslop & Associates, on the other hand, provides non-credit computer classes during the day. After meeting with Adrienne Stevens, the director of SNHU, we concluded that the 2 educational facilities would be a perfect fit.

In the process of relocating our business to SNHU, we are expanding the services we offer. Our classroom desktop computers have been replaced with laptop computers which will enable us to become a portable classroom. Our services include:

· One day computer workshops to the general public, hosted at Southern NH University.
Small groups, hands-on training.

· Special interest seminars. These 3-hour lectures will provide informational seminars on topics like using a digital camera, burning CDs & DVDs and building photo slideshows.

· Corporate classroom training for local businesses. Our portable classroom enables us to provide training on-site in businesses or in our classroom at SNHU.  Reserve your conference room and call us to customize a class for your staff.

· We also offer consulting on special projects and one-on-one tutoring.

Spring Seminars

Hyslop & Associates is offering 2 informational seminars in March.  These seminars are intended for people who do not need hands-on training and would like to gain a great deal of information in a short amount of time.

Digital Camera—Working with Photos

If you have recently purchased a digital camera, this 3 hour seminar will help you understand the capabilities of your equipment, and how to effectively pass your digital photographs into the computer. This seminar will demonstrate how to use Adobe PhotoShop Elements to edit pictures, control image size, and remove areas of a photo by using the clone tool.  Additional topics include options for printing photos and how to organize your hard drive. The participant will also learn how to import images into other applications like Word & PowerPoint.

Intended audience:  Beginners who need to understand how to work with photos and users who want to pick up a few tips and tricks on managing photos.

Date:  Wednesday, March 14, 2007   9:00AM—12:00PM
Cost:  $49 / person

Creating DVD Slideshows

Have you recently taken a vacation or attended a family wedding.  This seminar will demonstrate how to import your photos into Roxio Easy Media Creator to create a slideshow and add music and animation.  The presenter will discuss types of DVDs and show how to burn a DVD.

Intended Audience:  People who are comfortable managing their photos and working with files and folders in the Windows environment.
